If you are looking for a very special place where you can relax, unwind and enjoy some quality time together, without going far away, the Romantic Rondawel is waiting for you! The cottage is beautifully and thoughtfully presented for you. Our guests love the comfortable king bed, the great shower, the decor and the covered verandah where you can enjoy good company, sweeping lawns and the sunrise. The kitchenette allows for easy meal prep. The private braai spot is set under the African sky. The space The property is 3.5 hectares, with a huge garden which was established in the fifties by Clive and Di Fyvie, who absolutely loved gardening and sharing slips from friends far and wide. botanical many of which were planted in the 1950s. Access from the highway is quick and easy and once you are here, you will feel like you are miles away from the world we live in. This makes it a really convenient and rejuvenating base from which to explore the Midlands. The covered verandah overlooks the expansive garden : the perfect place to relax and have your coffee whist experiencing the dawn of a new day. Inside the cottage the space feels cosy and spacious with the high thatched roof wrapping around you. The open plan format generates a sense of holiday ease. Watch the stars twinkle at night from this little haven. Guest access Please download the FLUSS App before leaving your home and ensure that your phone battery is charged on arrival . We will send you an invite for the duration of your booked stay. On arrival, open the Fluss app. The Fluss on your device will search for the Fluss at our gate (14 Fyvie Rd, Howick, next door to Rivergoose) Press the Hayfields Entrance button on your device. The gate will open. Once installed, the App uses Bluetooth, so it's no problem if you don't have data. Our Smallholding offers a safe and beautiful place to wind down. Enjoy the big open skies and the magnificent display of backlit clouds at sunset. Other things to note The wifi modem password is on the back of the modem. Please do not remove it from the cottage. The kitchenette is suitable for light catering. It is equipped with a bar fridge, a kettle, toaster, microwave, induction plate and an electric frying pan.
